The solutions of Hampton Research's Crystal Screen 1 have been reordered for compatibility with Douglas Instruments ASPRUN software. There are three sections: Viscous organic precipitants, Non-viscous organic precipitants and inorganic precipitants. Within each section solutions are ordered alphabetically by precipitant, and by increasing concentrations, and by pH where a precipitant is used at the same concentration more than once. The salt precipitants are ordered by anion followed by cation.

Two solutions have been left out. These were 25 and 27, which did not produce any crystals in a survey by Hampton Research.

To avoid confusion, solutions should always be referred to by letter and number, e.g. P2 or H26.
