If you have made changes to your own Plates file, please
beware not to overwrite your Plates file, but rather, find the plates that you
need in the new file and add them to your existing Plates file. If you are

Note: the new experiments v8.6 uses a 3-bore tip as the default for most
experiments. We have found it to be a more stable tip and this avoids users
having to change the tip so often.
If you want to continue using a 2-bore tip for basic screening
experiments, uncheck the 'Use 3-bore tip' box on the 'Advanced' tab.
