This is a new section to our website. Here we want to encourage the exchange of experiment files produced for Oryx and IMPAX by some of our customers - and by ourselves in conjunction with customers.

These files have not all been thoroughly checked by DI and are supplied here without guarantee. We will, however, attempt to test files for errors before publishing them.  Douglas Instruments can offer only limited support in debugging and improving these files.

Each zip file contains a copy of our latest Plates(Oryx).dat file (or Plates(IMPAX).dat). You will need to copy one of these files to your    .... \ Douglas Instruments\Global Data     folder.  If you have made changes to your own Plates file, please beware not to overwrite your Plates file, but rather, find the plates that you need in the new file and add them to your existing Plates file.

These zip files include instructions.

If you have designed an experiment that you would like to publish here, please send e-mail to info at douglas.co.uk

"here's a quick one I wrote to set up a 6x4x3 pre-screen, is one 72 well plate. The idea is based op the 1000 screen method I wrote. Basically just change the volume of the drop and percentage of protein (if you want), setup your 4 precipitant stocks and 6 buffer stocks and off you go... Notice that the Nunc plate is "split"...
Cheers, Flip"
