Douglas Instruments has released a table to reorder Hampton
Research's Crystal Screen I. This is useful for IMPAX and Oryx because all the
viscous solutions have been moved to the start. Therefore dispensing can be done
slowly for the viscous solutions (first 27 wells) then more rapidly for the non-viscous
solutions.
Moreover, we also recommend using the reordered screen for manual screening because it
is far easier to see trends in the crystallization of a protein. Using the reordered
screen, clusters of successful crystallization conditions are often obvious.
